On Wednesday 11th March, the morning children went for a visit to meet "Jimmy the Pig" our kindy scrap food recycling bin, and also to visit Kaipara Flats Primary School, to look at their green initiatives. This all tied into out term focus on "Recycling" and "Saving the World." The children travelled by bus to Trudi and Justin Molloy's lovely home to have morning tea with Jimmy and to enjoy the lovely rural surronding at the Molloy homestead. Thank you so much to the Molloy's and Jimmy for welcoming us into their home. Then it was back on the bus and out to Kaiapara Flats School to look at the great work they are doing with recycling and growing plants for revegetation initiatives. Thanks to the staff and children of Kaipara Flats School for making us feel so welcome, and letting us play on your awesome playground!
